Turns out, there’s definitely a right way to fold your clothing. We’re including four amazing ways to minimize wrinkles and take up less space. Curious? Read on:

1. T-Shirts

Lay the T-shirt on a flat surface
Fold one arm in at the armpit seam
On the same side, fold the length of the shirt towards the center
Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the opposite side to make your shirt into a rectangular shape
Bring the bottom up towards the top to reduce its size by half

2. Dress shirts

Place the shirt button-side down on a flat surface
Fold the right sleeve towards the center via the armpit seam
Fold the sleeve at a 45 degree angle towards the hem
Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the left side
Grab the hem and fold the bottom third of the shirt up
Fold again so the folded portion reaches the top of the shoulders

3. Socks

Form a T shape with the socks
Fold the right edge of the bottom sock over the top
Repeat for the left side of the bottom sock
Fold up the top sock to leave it overhanging
Tuck the overhanging part into the folded layers of the bottom sock

4. Towels

Hold the towel lengthwise and bring the hems together
Repeat
Rotate the towel so that it’s lengthwise in front of you with the hem facing downwards
Bring each side edge into the center one at a time
Flip the towel over and place it in the shelf with the folded edges out
