For the past six months, most of us have spent more time at home than ever before. With school now re-opened, many of us have to adjust again by shifting our homes once again to accommodate a more permanent work spaces for parents and children. Below are some tips on how to maximize your space, specifically to accommodate work and school under one roof! 1. Set up your own space. Take care of yourself! With a new type of constant distraction while working, it is important to make sure you have a place to go to make your money. Give yourself to right amount of work space you need to do your job well. Locate a spot with plenty of sunlight to make you feel good and keep the level of noise around you in mind. 2. Set up your children’s work space. We want to give our children everything we can but, a large desk is not necessary. At school, our children have smaller desks so, there is no need to stress over space! You can set up the space with a desk., like this and everything will be okay. We also approve a folding table if space is just not available. 3. Assess the space. If you do choose a smaller desk for yourself or your child, you will need storage. Use the wall space behind the desk or choose a desk like this one which takes up minimal space and has built in storage underneath. |
