Healthy Organizing Habits

End 2021 on the right foot with some healthy organizing habits for your home. Having order and harmony where you spend most of your time is beneficial—especially if the whole family pitches in! Read our tips to get started:

1. Create a plan
Before you dive in, it’s important to create a plan. Whether that’s making a blueprint, or jotting down what you want to achieve, you will need a plan that holds you accountable.

2. Delegate responsibilities
Get your partner, roommates and kids involved in the process too! Organizing the home should be a team effort, and will teach little ones important responsibilities and skills for later on.

3. Give everything a home
Everything from spices to toys should have its own “home”. Store spices in a pantry or spice rack, put toys in storage boxes, bins or chests, and ensure any other items have a specific place to return to once they’re done being used. This not only keeps your space clean, it also allows you to find things really easily.

4. Invest in some great products
Organizing items doesn’t have to be dull—have fun with it by investing in some cute storage pieces! We love these:

Doggy Storage
